travel north america united states santa barbara santa barbara shellfish company
We stopped for lunch at the Santa Barbara Shellfish Company at the end of Stearns Wharf in Santa Barbara because it was listed as one of the best places for fish & chips.
They had no fish and chips... but what we did have was good.
We ordered from a take-out window and ate at the picnic tables spread out on the wharf next to it.
A man with a guitar provided nice soothing live background music for diners.
I had coconut shrimp, Lynn had shrimp tacos, and we shared some clam chowder.
The two meals were very good, but the clam chowder was not to my taste.
There is free parking on the wharf for the first 90 minutes.
